Sitafal has a short season and no patience at all. It ripens at the end of the monsoon, gives you a few weeks, and is gone.
We let it ripen on the tree rather than picking it hard and forcing it, which is why ours arrives sweeter and why it will not sit in your kitchen for a week. Eat it within a day or two of it softening.
If you want sitafal from us, tell us in August and we will put you on the list. It goes quickly.
